2025 UNA Outstanding Nonprofit Leader Nomination

In honor of the dedicated individuals who work every day to strengthen, unify, elevate, and sustain our communities, UNA will recognize two Outstanding Nonprofit Leaders to be celebrated at the 2025 UNA Annual Conference on September 18, at the Davis Conference Center.

Our view of leadership is not defined by title or designation, age, authority, or any other qualifier. Instead, it is about the individuals who not only persevere in the face of obstacles, but also engage and inspire the people around them, motivating others to dig deeper and work harder to get results. Regardless of their role, these individuals have made a lasting and positive impact on their organization and in the community. Their passion is contagious, and their results are impressive. Please use the form below to submit your nomination for UNA's 2025 Outstanding Nonprofit Leader Award.

The Fine Print:

  • Nominations will be accepted through 11:59 pm on Monday, June 30, 2025. We will communicate the UNA Annual Conference Committee's decisions by July 31, 2025
  • This award is for individuals. We are unable to consider nominations for couples/pairs or groups of volunteers or professionals.
  • Multiple nominations for the same individual do not improve chances of selection—we encourage group nominations to be submitted as one single nomination.
  • Members of the 2025 UNA Conference Committee are not eligible to receive a UNA Outstanding Nonprofit Leader Award while serving on the committee.
